El Tucan in Brickell is a consistent delight! Each visit surpasses expectations. The food is simply divine, and the drinks are consistently yummy. Their top-notch customer service perfectly complements the captivating performances. Whether it's your first time or a frequent visit, El Tucan never disappoints. While parking is available, we prefer the convenience of Uber. A definite recommendation for those seeking delicious cuisine, fantastic drinks, impeccable service, and unforgettable entertainment!
The customer service was horrible. We had reservations to celebrate a birthday, we had to go up each time to get the waiters attention to order drinks food. When we tried to order a round of shots, our waiter had the audacity to say “i have other tables to tend to”. What’s that about? We literally waited 30 minutes to get his attention again and had to walk up to him again. It’s annoying. The DJ only played house music and wouldn’t take any requests. Literally 2 old men DJ’ing lol. The food was okay? Definitely overpriced and not worth it. When we got the tab at the end of the night, our waiter had the nerve to tell us that the gratuity included on our bill goes to: the DJ, the bartenders, the busboys, and the waiters…. hinting to tip him extra for his bad service throughout the night. 1/10, definitely do not recommend. I’d go somewhere else.
Great service, great music and awesome ambience. We had an amazing experience 100% recommend.
This place has so much potential it upsets me to give it the review I’m about to. El Tucán has an identity crisis. Is it a club? A cocktail bar? A restaurant? It is so cramped you feel like you’re in a can of sardines. The food is inexplicably overpriced, though admittedly decent. The female server we had was rude, bored, and morose. The male servers were quite nice and made the experience not so offensive. We only saw two ~3 minute cabaret “performances” during the allotted 2 hours we were given at our table, so I don’t think it really deserves the title of “cabaret”. They said we were welcome to the bar following our 2 hour table but the bar itself was so small it was completely congested and full of people before we even sat at our own table to eat. Good luck getting served there. The best part was the interior design and the bathrooms. You could keep everything else.
