Wow! It's so refreshing to walk into a restaurant, and have friendly banter with the sociable restaurant owner who LOVES what he does.
Exceptional value lunches here where u get a rice, any curry and a naan for $9.45! It has become my favourite spot when I feel like a curry hit.
Service and price at this restaurant are both outstanding. We ordered the Kuma's Special and found the food to be very good. Each of us paid $20 for 3 curries, rice, and naan, with no extra charge for corkage. The atmosphere was good, although the location and quietness on week nights detracted from the overall experience. The waitress was attentive and asked if I found my dish hot enough, promising to make it "real Indian hot" next time. While the mild curry was a bit bland for me, my husband enjoyed it. Overall, a great dining experience with something for every Indian taste. Looking forward to coming back for spicier dishes next time.
The chicken korma at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and the owner is extremely friendly! The vindaloo is also excellent. This is my favorite place to go when I'm in the mood for Indian curry.
