L&r Deli - Fort Benton

Our Glacier Plans fell through (Corona), so we found a new place. We had a general idea about the location and have seen this classic hotel right on the Missouri River. It ended up making a big change. Fort Benton Waterfront has a great historical walk. The food in the grill was brilliant. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. I really had a great stay.

The hotel stay was very pleasant. It is very comfortable, clean and has a beautiful view of the river. It felt like we stepped into another local time I loved. All employees we interacted with were enthusiastic and very real. We also ate in the Union Grill. Everything was delicious, but several articles that my husband wanted to order were not available, including the Chef Sampler (by Exec Chef being out, the beef Tenderloin, and the red wine pears. His runner-up selections tasted excellent (I tested them myself because so much I love the guy! We are both thrilled for our next visit and hope to do it better if we can get the chef Sampler!

A really beautiful experience. History, comfort and a friendly, professional staff. The restaurant, The Union Grill was amazing. I had a red wine beef stew that was SO GOOD. Breakfast comes with the room and was delicious. Nice view!

Nice stay, 1st room had an AC issue, moved us to another room. I like their customer service. Food was AWESOME! Wait staff did a great job as well! Front desk knocked it out of the park!

Oh my! Neatest place ever! Right by Missouri river@ parkarea@ walking path! Grew up in great falls@ never had been to fort benton/ lots of montana history originated here!
