First time trying this and wow the caramel frappe blew my head way better than Starbucks
My husband and I were excited to try their coffee for the first time? not to impressed since it tasted super watered down, not worth it for the price of the coffee. Plus asking the customer if they?d like to add a tip is very uncomfortable and makes onefeel obligated to do so. I?ll stick to my other coffee joint.
The coffee is fine. The real complaint is that every time I drive through, I am asked ?would you like to add a tip today.? They started doing this a few months ago. Well, that?s a pretty uncomfortable situation to be put in for someone who (used to) getcoffee there everyday. Of course When someone asks so bluntly, I?m going to feel obligated to add a tip. But given the fact thatthe coffee is already 7 dollars give or take, and I would ideally go everyday, constantly adding a tip becomes a hefty monthlyexpense. This isn?t a customary practice. Never have I been asked if i?d like to add a tip at a starbucks or dutch bros, forexample. On one occassion, I said ?no thankyou? as I couldn?t really afford to spend more than the cost of the drink. There wasfor sure a noticeable look of agitation on the workers face. Their demeanor changed and they unemotionally handed me the coffeeafter a chipper and jubilant greeting. Please, please, stop asking people if they want to add a tip as you are handling theircard! It?s awkward and most people will say ?yes? to avoid being rude, however many people can?t afford to consistently turn a 5dollar drink into something more expensive!
The coffee is amazing and the guy running the store was so nice, I will def be back! Highly recommend!
