Named the couple of dishes we had within post. Enjoy!!! I’m. From Houston n we’re quite diverse in our cuisine. Trust me when I tell you … THIS PLACE is a MUST!!!
Vincent's has become one of our favorite dining places. The menu is limited, but the food is excellent (maybe there's a correlation). Service is excellent and friendly. Ambience outside is super relaxed.
My husband and I were excited to try Vincent’s for the first time after reading all the great reviews. So we went last night for our anniversary celebration. We had made reservations since it was Friday night but that was unnecessary since it was so empty. We had some drinks and the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer, and while it was broiled well, it was drowning in the balsamic reduction. We then ordered the pork saltimbocca and the sorrento for our main meal. The pork dish looked like it was cafeteria food and it was so tough and salty I could not eat it. My husband’s sorrento was way more spicy than it should have been (and he can handle a spicy meal) and burnt-tasting somehow? Also he asked for extra parmesan on it and they added lots of mozzarella instead. We had to send the food back and the server was understanding. We payed for our drinks and appetizer and ate dinner somewhere else instead. In our 9 years together, we have never done anything like this before, and we were so disappointed, considering all the positive reviews. My advice; go to Domenic’s Bistro instead. We’ve never once had a bad experience there. And their Sorrento is excellent.
We really liked the atmosphere here. They have a very cool bar with low, moody lighting inside and a cozy outdoor seating area. Our server, Alex Sivels was so great! He happened to be the only staff member working the front of the restaurant the night we visited. He did such a good job being attentive to us while handling all the other guests at the same time.Great spot for drinks and Italian food!
Got the Brussels on happy hour, they were very repeatable! The pizza was so fresh, and $21 for a 16 inch margarita is an amazing deal! The buttermilk fried chicken piccata was INCREDIBLE. Hands down the best fried chicken I've had in FOCO. The chocolate souffle with ice cream was also highly amazing and repeatable, but if you want it I recommend ordering it with your meal so they can time things well, should you be eager to get home. Sofie (or Sophie) was friendly and informative and open to questions should you have them! Dogs are welcome on the patio, also, which is a huge plus! Will be back soon!
