Auberge Beach Residences

Food was excellent, service lacking. We had a table of two and seemed like a bother to our server, not very engaging with our table and felt forgotten about even though he would look at us then walk towards another table. Very odd experience.

Snapper was terrible. Artichokes served with branzino had no flavor. Got 3 glasses of wine after finishing a bottle and they were very stingy with the pour. Won't be going back. Ridiculously expensive for what you get.

We went for lunch and it was great. The setting is amazing—both in the dining room and on the terrace. The lunch menu was great. I had the swordfish sandwich and my friend had the Greek salad. Both were outstanding. All of the servers were excellent. So nice to hear, “my pleasure” instead of the ubiquitous “no problem.” I have been to Dune for dinner a few times and for a burger at the bar, now lunch. Best restaurant in FLL if not Florida! Doesn't disappoint.

The hand held devices that the waiter held was time consuming and awkward. Wouldn't it have been easier if he remembered our drink order? The table height in the banquet was a bit too high. The cocktails should fill the martini glasses. Overall it was a lovely dining experience but I still saw patrons in baseball hats and sweatshirts. I will definitely be back but there's always room for improvement.

Our server was excellent. Don't know her name. Packed with personality, great knowledge of menu and wine offerings, incredibly attentive and fast. Great job.... Food, always delicious!
