Was very surprised with the selection of items from which to choose. In fact, so many you can fill your record quickly. All foods are behind glass to keep things clean and safe. The servers are fast and the portions are enormous. In fact, I had enough left for two more meals. The price for what I chose was incredibly cheap. Will certainly be back for more. I have read other experiences that were not so good, complaining that no one could speak English and the food was terrible and the service was slow, but according to my experience I felt that probably none of these people could be satisfied with something. All I can say is an attempt and you decide.
I'm new to the area and enjoy trying new things. They have a good selection of meat and fish and sides, although some of them looked outside my comfort zone. Anyway, I have a pulled pig, rice and fried plantains. The portions are large, but in my opinion they are a little expensive. I contained a picture of my plate for which I paid $15. Not shown was a $3,50 guava juice that was quite delicious. I could go back someday to try the Ccubano.
The food is outstanding, incredibly affordable, and the restaurant is immaculate. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and everything is always fresh.
Welcome to Lee County Maikel's Kitchen! At last, authentic Cuban and Hispanic cuisine reminiscent of Miami's Palacio de los Jugos. The service is quick, and the homemade food is fantastic—a must-visit! The restaurant is clean, the customer service is excellent, and the food portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable, and the juices? Absolutely delicious!
