Pizzeria Pozzallo - Frankfurt am Main

We love stopping at Pizzeria Pozzallo after visiting a museum or shopping in Frankfurt. It's a great mom-and-pop eatery in downtown Frankfurt -- just up from Grueneburgweg on Eschersheimer Landstrasse. The husband and wife team from Sicily are extremely welcoming -- she serves while he cooks -- you can watch from your table as he whips up the pasta and pizza dishes in an adjacent kitchen area -- and the food is traditional Italian and tasty. Choose from a variety of pastas on the chalkboard or select pizza or other dishes from the menu. We love the seafood salad and haven't yet met a pasta or pizza dish we didn't like -- all served with generous helpings of wine. Recommend the homemade Tiramisu for dessert. The prices are decent and the food is delicious -- all served with a smile.
