Love the service and new menu but totally glad they kept the gnocchi and the grilled ceasar salad on the menu ! They are my fav ! The weekly cocktails specials are fab too and we always enjoy making memories here with family and friends. Cheers!

Whether you go for the terrific buffet or order off the menu, you'll get a great breakfast to start your day. For the same price as the full buffet, my wife ordered off the menu and got her eggs and bacon done exactly the way she likes them. The buffet does not have a huge variety of items, but everything there was fresh and hot and properly cooked. My only quibble is that the coffee was weaker than I like it, but then I like my coffee much stronger than most people. They are generous with the coffee and even give you a take out cup to take with you when you go.We stopped by later in the afternoon for tea and dessert. The choice of desserts is rich!Next time we visit Fredericton, we'll try out their lunch and dinner menus, which looked quite inviting!

May 30, 2017 - Was walking along the waterfront when I noticed the patio for The Maverick Room was open and sunny, so myself and a friend stopped to have a drink. Our waitress Teresa was amazing. She was great at recommending wines, didn't rush us, but was also very attentive and funny.We had dinner reservations at another restaurant for later in the evening, but the atmosphere and our server were so great we decided to cancel the reservation and stay for dinner.We tried various selections of meat and cheeses which our server helped pick out and they were all great. For meals we shared the 5oz Filet and the Supreme of Maritime Chicken. Both potions were smaller which was perfect for us, as sometimes we find the servings too big. The recommendations were perfect and we found the food delicious.Overall The Maverick Room has a great patio with amazing servers. Next time I am in town I will absolutely be returning and asking for Teresa!

I just had breakfast here. What great service, reasonable prices and excellent food. Both the fresh squeezed OJ and coffee were really pleasant surprises. Buffet including OJ and coffee only $14.95 Will be back.

The Maverick Room is special. It's been good for years, but now it's special. Elegant and comfortable, located in a separate space to one side of the main dining room, it features first-rate food and service. We were a party of four, and we ordered the halibut 'sous vide', the salmon, and the partridge. All were excellent. Then we shared one gingerbread dessert (it's large, said the excellent waiter, since there's four spoons) with rum caramel sauce that was to die for. We are well-travelled, but this was a dining experience that compares favourably with the finest restaurants anywhere.
