Cafe Domino - Das Cafe

Cafe Domino, if you don't know the old town of Freiburg, is not easy to find. But as soon as you know the way, you will go there daily. This is a favorite of locals, and it is a great place to watch for people. To reach it, you will... also pass some local boutiques and craft shops. Service good and English Menu a/v. On a good day, definitely sitting outside under an umbrella or a tree!

This is the quintessential German café with a good selection of cakes and coffee. Located on the upper floor and enjoy the view over a good cup of coffee and a slice of black forest cake.

We wandered around the old town of Freiburg and noticed that this restaurant serves Black Forest cake. Since we were in the Black Forest, we decided to stop and try. It was wonderful. We were here for dessert, but it was worth the stop.

Café Domino is located in a side street not far from the Cathedral. Coffee, cake and hot chocolate are delicious and very friendly staff. A good place to stop for a break when in the city, like it... was the only café we found!

Das Cafe Domino ist auf 2 Etagen verteilt. Unten ein Raum mit Hochstühlen, oben ist das richtige Cafe, recht gemütlich. Wir saßen im ersten Stock mit Blick auf die Glyzinienpracht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte ein Gedicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
