Jay's Specialty Ice Cream - Fresno

Smooth and creamy shovels here with naturally tasting flavors that are not *too* sweet, but will fulfill this desire. Stopped by this truck while hanging in Gazebo Gardens and decided to try the ice flight. Very cheap at $8 for 4 pots. We have tried Peaches and Cream, Oreo Delight, Red Wave and What a Hunk (peanut butter ice cream with caramel and pretzel bits). The ice is definitely made with a natural cream, so people with every lactose intolerance should be careful! Otherwise, the blades are beautiful and creamy, and we very enjoyed the aromas. Favorite was probably the peaches and cream, which tasted very simple and naturally. The other flavors had an element that seemed to exaggerate the others (e.g., red wave tasted just like strawberry), but were still pleasant. Interested to come back and try more flavors!

I've seen this ice cream truck and I haven't had the chance to try it yet. I'm really broken. On one side, the ice is obviously super premium quality it is creamy and not pumped full air. Unfortunately, the two flavors I tried (almond pistachio and a taste I cannot even remember) were quite tasteless. I wouldn't buy from here again, there are others, much better ice farms in Fresno.

Ice cream is good for the most part. Customer service is terrible. Just lost a loyal customer.

Ice cream was delicious and the staff was amazing!!! I would definitely use them again and recommend them for any event!
