No more secret tip... Until recently we were always happy in the brush because the food - for a pub was rather unexpected - very, very good. And because in a larger group, always someone eats vegetarian, we liked the brush because there was really excellent vegetarian/vegan food at very reasonable prices. With many other people we know it was like that. The food was always seasoned and cooked to the point and the details were matched with love. After the kitchen has changed, unfortunately not only vegetarian dishes have suffered. During our last visit we had half raw roast potatoes, a carving that was not entirely through and meat in a vegetarian dish. The salad was very sweet. This may really be a matter of taste, but in my experience, iceberg salad with corn and paprika is a salad that only makes people who see salad as a tasteless hurdle between themselves and a healthy lifestyle. The food is now again quite mediocre and thus back to the normal level of a village pub. Very bad. We will miss it and the vegetarians hope that the former cook might cook somewhere else in Siegen, because otherwise there was nothing comparable in my eyes here. The vegetarian offers in the black sheep really don't blow a culinary stool. I don't think the brush is doing a favor. As a pure pub, okay.

Heerlijk gegeten op het terras van dit restaurant. De service was uitstekend en de prijs kwaliteit verhouding was perfect. Het eten is niet heel speciaal maar wel goed!!

Sehr gemütlich und recht günstige PreiseDas Essen schmeckt und es gibt auch einige vegane Gerichte auf der Karte Komme gerne wieder

Wir haben in dem kleinen süßen Lokal sehr gut gegessen. Und das fleischlos.Immer wieder gern und sobald wir in der nähe sind ist es ein Pflichtbesuch.
