O Funil - Funchal

Service without a smile, but more importantly when you know you could definitely have cooked it better yourself...and I had a simple pizza....wished I had checked reviews 1st!

A lot of the restaurants that we visited in Funchall serve very similar food but this is a little bit different. I felt this was a cut above some of the others although the wine was quite expensive. I had a fantastic seafood lasagna. Elegant decor.

Restaurant is small inside but cosy with a nice feel. Staff attentive but not invasive. Food was lovely and good value for money. The white wine was the best I had all week. We will be back in June !

If you are in a hurry and hungry after the a long trip, in the center of the beautiful Funchal you can have dinner here without regrets.
