San Marcos Mexican In Pine Mounta

This is as about as far from real American Mexican food as anyone could get it's closer to dumpster dividing. The texas margarita was tart and was made with cheap tequila.... could've made a better margarita at home. It's B.S. the food could've been seasoned better...it was kind of bland and the atmosphere and service was uncomfortable... The seating was outdated and worn. The waiter was careless of our concerns. I'm embarrassed this place is in my home town.

This restaurant was highly recommended from the staff at the lodge where we were staying and I will admit that they were right. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff was top notch. The only warning I have for you about this place is to show up early, because they fill up quick! But… the wait is totally worth it!!! You will not be disappointed.

I came here for the first time the other day with my wife. She's been many times but we lived out of town for many years and just came back. My first experience wasn't so great, food came fast, service was fast and most of the food was good. However, I got the chicken and rice plate and it just tasted funky. Everything else was great. My wife loves this place and since it was my first time, ill definitely give them another chance. Something tells me it's worth it. Once I return, I'll update.

Local place, not fancy, but good food! Always good service and good margaritas.

Been there several times. Always great food and service. And always larger portions than we can eat for 1 meal.
