Cafe Creekside - Gahanna

When we walked into the restaurant it had a mildew smell. We got service right away which was good. However, getting our food took a long time. Two mini banana muffins were given as a time filler, which was nice but even after that it still took a long time. I overheard another couple behind me complaining that they had been waiting 30-minutes and were hungry. Also, when my Mexican scramble order arrived it was missing the sour cream and pico de gallo which was on the menu. I had to ask. The food was fine. I love supporting small, local, family-owned businesses but appreciate and expect good service. Today that was lacking and it appeared to be at least 3 servers and not that large of a crowd.

Fantastic for breakfast or brunch. Down home diner atmosphere if you find in or sit outside on the patio by the creek. Only 4 starts because if you sit outside, the traffic noise can be a bit much.

I love this place! My fiancée and I love breakfast and brunch places and if anyone were to ask us our hidden gem we say this spot everytime!

First time there today, server was polite and nice ! We sat outside , where the other customers had their devices very loud and a loud phone conversation kind of ruined the vibe , but as for the food?? Like I said my first time here, eggs are from a bag they are absolutely horrid. The potatoes were alright , but everything got sent back due to HAIR being implanted and cooked into my food, a long string of hair. They handled it promptly but was still terrible. I came to a restaurant and left hungry, dissatisfied and disgusted. I don’t recommend not because of the hair but because the taste of the food is disappointing and not tasty. But if you are okay with foul food, a nice server and hair than this is the spot for you!

Service was incredibly slow. It took over an hour to get our food. Chocolate chip waffle, oatmeal, fruit toast, water, and milk. They definitely need someone to teach them how to run a kitchen efficiently,pre prep food, food runners, seating system, ect… They did give two chocolate chip cookies during the wait, which my son loved
