Satchel's is very unique. The vibe is hippie-ish, and that is a good thing. The service was really good, and the food was as well. My wife had a medium with no cheese, banana peppers, and pineapples. I had a medium with spinach. We very much enjoyed our selections. They had homemade soda as well. My wife had root beer and I had lemonade. If we make our way back to Gainesville, would love another visit.

Always consistently amazing! The pizza and salads are delicious! We also love the homemade root beer. This place has a hippy, happy and harmonious vibe!

We have visited Satchels on a few occasions and it has always been top knotch! From the service to the food, we have enjoyed each visit. It is such a fun, funky little pizza house with eclectic, up cycled decor and always something new to look at with local artwork displayed. The servers are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The kitchen is efficient and the food is absolutely AMAZING! We ordered both regular (thin) crust and pan crust pizzas and both were cooked to perfection. If you haven't tried this place....RUN! It's a little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. You won't be disappointed!

Went to Satchels after the Gator Nationals.Decided to have a few beers at Lightning Salvage while we waited for a table . We ended up staying at LS and having pizza and salad. All very good. Afterwards went exploring thru all the very cool rooms and areas
