Most likely the best chicken quesadillas I've ever had! Put your hands down the best Fajitas, too. The service was nothing but amazing. Nice little place where you get excellent food, great service and a small bill.

Genuine Mexican touch to most of their surprising wide menu real restaurants, not tacos / burritos, etc. Cosy, comfortable. Odd has several slots in the side of the dining area, but not a problem. Both our dishes were very good real paella that the cook obviously made fresh instead of raising the ingredients like some. Someone used to eat a funny place in Galena. If the boss and the server own the business, you know it will be fun.

It was New Year's Eve and we're hungry. We wanted to distract from the crowds in downtown. I had read the reviews and thought we would try. We were glad we did. With only a few tables in the small dining room, it is more like eating with the owner and his family and in fact they were all milled around. I ordered a margarita, because a margarita is a kind of litmus test for a restaurant serving Mexican cuisine. Isn't that right? It was really remarkable! My wife, not Tequila Drinker, now has the south of the border fantasies about these margaritas. She loved her. Not enough O s in smoooth! When we waited for our food, the owner son made a pretty hit when he engaged every female in the place (there was only 4) in a dance. With Latin American music he played with them all. We all snapped and laughed and had a nice time. The owners are so nice! The food arrived and everything looked so fresh. I had Fajitas. The broccoli mixed with onions and peppers and all grilled to perfection. Delicious! My wife had shrimp tacos and from her reaction I could say they were delicious. I could convince them that I tried them and they were very good. The menu is quite wide and has some genuine authentic elements such as tongues Tacos. The price is higher than your average Mexican restaurant, but our experience was worth it. It's a great way to celebrate. We'll be back to see if the next time is as good as the first. If you find yourself in Galena and have a desire for good fresh authentic Mexican foods, why not give them an attempt.

Don't be afraid of the hole in the wall atmosphere! My wife and I were skeptical when we looked in and there were only a few people at the bar. It ended amazing! The best food we had on the weekend. My wife had the steak quasadillas and I had the steak fajitas. Can not have been the best presentation, but everything tasted extremely fresh and was delicious. The waitress was also very friendly and nice.

Can't beat Taco Tuesday! Delicious Mexican-style tacos at a super reasonable price. The carnitas are great! The salsa is extremely tasty. The owner/chef is very friendly, welcoming, and provides a great experience with scrumptious food.
