Trails End At The Waldheim Grill

Waitress was not friendly to outsiders. Could totally sense a mood change when she talked to locals. Mistake was made on her part with food delivery, and she made us feel like it was our fault. Then did not ask about drink refills, or check in to see how food was. Not impressed..

Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere. We go there every time we are at the cabin.

I've been wanting to stop by and check this place out so I made a point to swing by for some lunch. It was quite a bit bigger on the inside than I expected with plenty of seating both at the bar and at tables. The staff was friendly and the menu had a decent selection. I tried out the Waldheim Burger and it did not disappoint. The cook was perfect and I liked the toppings. I could take or leave the chips; they had a faint burnt taste, almost like the fryer oil was at the end of its life. I would definitely stop here again though.

Great vibe and delicious food. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

Best salad bar I’ve seen in years!!! Also the soups included with the salad bar were absolutely delicious!
