I don't know why I'm doing this – I end up with massive fullness pain after meal anyway. FOOD: Whew... where should I start? Eating here is like eating Christmas. All you can eat includes pig bells, beef, chicken, beef brisket, etc. The server brings it to you and cut the meat for you. I found it creepy when there are still meat on the grill, but room has to be deleted for new foods so that the server lady just took the pliers and distributed the pieces to us all, like my mother. The food itself is a good choice of Korean BBQ, with the mini dishes included. I thought the beans-curd soup tasted a kind of salty and had a strange jive for it. I would recommend getting the steamed egg instead. I also tried to wrap different meats with rice patties and eat it in one mouth. So, what if the soy sauce pulled my lips down on my chin in a disgusting primal scene as my cheeks extended to take it all? And if there were girls sitting over me watching this? There was only one thing in the mind: How to consume MUCH MEAT as possible. After eating the food until my denim were to burst, all that you can eat dessert option is a cool touch to all foods. You can combine green tea, cookies and cream and/or strawberry! This is part of my secret strategy for a “last stand”, as I always desire salty things for sweet things. So I stuffed a last piece of chicken before I blew in the defeat. Random Notes: Remember to dress for the occasion when you come to Cham Sut Gol with friends. I have a "Chinese Association" t-shirt and my old Gap jeans. Yes, the radio after-smell of the Korean Barbeque WILL stick to your beautiful jackets and expensive pants / dresses. This is NOT what she said, thank you very much
There are many reasons to come to Cham Sut Gol, but the meat quality is probably not one of them. I suppose this is to be expected for all you can eat, but just wanted this out. For everything you can eat, the price is quite reasonable (approximately $17 dollars and this includes the standard Korean side dishes such as chap chae, potato salad, even some tofu soup and egg. It is not like a buffet where you go to get the food; Instead, they will bring you the meat and if you want more, tell them what to bring. This may seem a limiting factor, but it is not and it is actually nice not to stand up to get more food. They also help you to cook it sometimes when you look particularly incompetent. The amount is noticeable on the younger row, with many college-aged children coming to eat and drink, so you should know that before you come. As such, waiting for fri/sat nights is very long — 1-1.5 hours long. Each of the favorite parts comes at the end with the self-service everything you can eat ice cream. It is quite good quality ice cream usually to choose with some different flavors (i.e. cookies n cream, green tea, strawberry etc. The cones are just stale-ish bowl cakes, but that doesn't matter. All in all, it is a great place for groups to eat, drink and be happy. Just don't come here to find a gourmet menu.
