Phở Nam Định - Garden Grove

I just write this to remind me not to come back here. You had big portions, but that's the only plus. Breadh was very thin and tasteless. I could see the floor of my big Phoschale. The raw steak was frozen and lumped together with a foul odor. Honeydew boba was just sugar syrup and half mixed. The bob was swung down in a fixed watt. And there was no air conditioning in the dining area.

Friendly service, inexpensive and enjoyed the Pho. 5 egg rolls are fine, so if you eat solo, it's a lot!

Honestly, where do I start, came here late. The family wanted a Vietnamese food. Read the reviews and was as good as getting me a good meal. But unfortunately they didn't have Boba. The service was nice, but always insisted that we get a ****. Didn't want a **** without Boba. The food was bland. I was sincerely disappointed because paid for food and received a little portion and there was no taste for everything. What to expect if you are hungry and of course we ate, but may have some taste to use fish sauce and oyster sauce to give some taste. Or somewhere near the little Saigon. The utensils were pretty dirty for the first and last time.

My mom loves this place for their pho. She likes to eat pho a special way and this place is the only place that makes it the way she likes! It's a hole in the wall that a lot of locals around the area knows. I'm one of them so I'll let you on the little secret! Dont let looks deceive you. This place is authentic. I grew kinda tired of pho (disgrace since I'm viet) so I opted for their cam tam (broken rice platter)! The restaurant tends to get busy during dinner time, so we always tend to go in between lunch and dinner. The portion for the food is just right, the service can honestly be a hit or miss. This recent time we didnt see our regular server and it was all new faces. They had a difficult time keeping up with orders and messed up my moms dish. She didnt complain because it was busy, but you could definitely tell she had the disappointed look on her face when the food didnt come out right (before any judgment, she had diabetes and high blood pressure, she requests it a certain way to keep it in check). All and all, we think it's a one time mistake, so we'll be back again!

Average pho for it being in the Mecca of pho restaurants. Had the beef stew red wine pho and it was hellah greasy, only could eat a portion of it due to its fat content the flavor was average. My family members tried fried rice and beef phon shrimp pho. All were average in taste nothing crazy good or different. The fried rice was waaaay to salty rice was mushy overcooked. Service was not great to great, depending on who helps yah out. Overall average . Would recommend if you need an average place to fill yah guts, other than that nah bruh, there?s more worthy pho places! This is a top searched google place, that?s how we found it aswell, but Google is a flavor god, so it only does algorithms. Average over all bland could be better kind place?
