As for the beef, I’m not sure what it was—it looked a bit off, possibly pork? The staff claimed it was beef, but I ended up removing it because it tasted bad and was hard and clumpy. When I asked about the type of beef or the cut, the staff member went to check and returned saying they didn’t know but could find out if I came back tomorrow. That’s a bit frustrating; I understand why you pay upfront—so you’re stuck with it if you don’t like it! My wife ordered a torta with barbacoa, but she only managed to eat half of it. The meat didn’t taste fresh and seemed reheated. We ended up packing it to give to our dog. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Sorry to say!
I've been searching for some tasty breakfast tacos nearby, and this place really hit the spot! Look no further. Plus, they serve breakfast all day!
I would consider going back, but I live in Mesquite, which is about 20 minutes away. Plus, there’s really no point since the staff wouldn’t understand me anyway. The most frustrating part was that the receipt was correct. It seemed like they just couldn’t read it and ended up putting whatever they wanted on the tacos, sope, and torta that I ordered. Nothing matched what was on the receipt, which made no sense at all. It was just terrible! Whoever owns this restaurant really needs to think twice. Why wouldn’t you have at least one person on staff who speaks English? It feels like you don’t care about non-Spanish speaking customers being able to order your food. It simply makes no sense!
To be honest before it was my favorite restaurant I ate 3 days at week!! And I come back after a while and things change!! I order 1&1/2 lb barbacoa!! And the taste was different and they use to put tortillas and salsa pico de Gallo !! And today I wasvery disappointed!! Just the meat for 30 dollars!!
I would consider returning, but I live in Mesquite, about 20 minutes away, and honestly, what's the point if no one can understand me? The strangest part is that the receipt was accurate. It seemed like they couldn’t read it and simply filled the tacos, sope, and torta with whatever they wanted. None of it matched what was on the receipt at all. It made absolutely no sense. This experience was just terrible! The owner of this establishment must not recognize the problem. Why isn't there at least one person on staff who speaks English? It feels like they don’t care that non-Spanish speaking customers are unable to order properly. It’s completely baffling!
