Very nice little tavern in Genappe. Very friendly owner, very nice choice of drinks and excellent small meals. A billion times better than La Lanterne, its outrageous prices and its unfriendly staff. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

One of the quietest bars in Genappe. Attractive prices and a large choice of food and drinks. The new boss is friendly, I miss the Bingo corner but the general atmosphere is very good. I highly recommend, it is better to market this type of bar than the Lanterne in the center which charges excessive prices. Here is a village café restaurant, a haven of sympathy and conviviality for the inhabitants of the region and located in the shadow of the Church of Vieux Genappe along the Chaussée de Nivelles. A warm and discreet welcome and, if you hike or cycle in the region, it is sincerely the place of choice, located close to the beautiful rural villages of Promelles, Glabais, Ways, Houtain le Val and les Bruyères des Berlus and Bruyère Madame. The place is away from the more lively town center of Genappe but you feel really good there, especially in good weather on the terrace. We went there several times to enjoy the homemade dishes: 'forest lasagna, Bolognese pasta, American fries (to die for), Liège boulets (to die for once again) '. Everything is excellent and served by the friendly and caring owner! The menu is not extensive and the dishes are limited but with organization, there is always a good choice to make for the meal.
