Sushi - GENOVA

Top location in the city center, very cool atmosphere and warm welcoming. The tables have a nice set up, very well designed for sharing plates, but they have an unusual distance between the seats, if you are on a date or a business meeting it 's not comfortable to talk. Professional service and nice menu but I was expecting way more for those kind of prices. Once we 've ordered the kitchen was very fast, even a bit too much as the waiter had to leave our order on the table next to ours. We literally watched our sushis for few minutes on the next table till the manager brought it to us just after the waiter served us the wine. The sushi was very average in taste and quality of the products. A lot of cream cheese, very popular within the all you can eat style restaurants but not for the one that is suppose to be the best sushi in town. Definitely not to my taste the caponata on the rolls with swardfish. On the other hand, they have a spectacular cellar with a huge variety of wine with different vintages.

I love this place! THE BEST SUSHI IN LIGURIA! I tried a lot of sushi restaurant, but this is the best if you want to eat a “special” sushi!

Hi everyone! Sadly to say that above restaurant is closed down or moved to another location in Genoa. I'm not so sure about it. Before I went to this restaurant I read all the great reviews here in TripAdvisor. I've got so excited, I'm sushi lover, so I started to stroll through Genoa streets looking for the best sushi in the city. When I've finally reached my sushi, that's was a Female Clothing shop in front of me. Luckily there was an Italian gentleman, most probably owner of the shop, saying that sushi restaurant is not here anymore. He was saying either the restaurant moved somewhere else or..., couldn't really understand him cause he couldn't speak English so well. So please, owner of this great sushi place, please let us now if you moved to somewhere else. I'll be more than happy to visit you and taste your great food. Best Regards

I tried this place instead of other sushi restaurants, because it seemed as the most exclusive. Sad to say that the sushi was bad, most of the dishes had cream cheese in them . To add to this, later I had to run to the toilet. Had to listen to my locals option and go to the all you can eat sushi place, which apparently is better.

We were a group of 6 friends and went to Broadside Sushi and were not disappointed. The owner welcomed us very warmly at the front desk and showed us around the restaurant is upstairs, whilst downstairs is a very stylish fashion store. The sushi and sashimi were some of the best I have ever had. The sushi with caramelised onion and salmon was wow and I thought the blue prawn sushi was the very different and delicious! The restaurant was full on Thursday when we visited which created a great vibe. You will not be disappointed, highly recommend it! Make sure you are hungry when you go!
