Golden's Pub Deli - Georgetown

The food was decent, at best. The service was acceptable. The atmosphere left PLENTY to be desired. The place was full of flies. I don’t mean there were a couple of flies. There were literally dozens of flies all over us while we were trying to eat. Worse than any horse farm I’ve ever been on.

The food was very good. The service was a bit forward, but friendly. The atmosphere was not great. The deep frier is located in the same large room as the dining area. That could be ameliorated by the staff cleaning rather than standing about.One aspect that should be addressed is that, even though the online information states that the restaurant accepts credit or debit, it doesn’t.Vegetarian options: Not many.

They don't accept debit or credit cards and don't have change for $100

Always great food, all the guests friendly with each other, and Patrick is a wonderful host. I always look forward to catfish night!
