I had to politely ask 4 times if I could get a high chair with a person, even say it wasn't her task. we got drinks from the server and they pulled our tellers. that's it, not refilling. terrible settings. self-service buffet. So the waitress comes back and chases me because she does not meet her top guidelines. no ma’am.1 I find it extremely rude that someone comes over dispute about how much we should tip2. why a 20% tip for a self-service buffet pay great food, but do not definitiw back
We went right after the buffet that was the wrong time. tables all cleaned. they found a room for us, but we must have interrupted their break because we have the stinking eye all the time. there were about 7 sushi kitchens so they think their order would come fast, but not sure why. but the sushi was very good. quality fish. service not so much. elaborate. buffet seems a better option.
Prices went up but the sushi in town really doesn’t get much better than Yuraku. Top notch quality and well worth the increased pricing for buffet. They also do kids and toddler rates as well so it helps make taking the hungry kids a no brainer.
A good place for all-you-can-eat sushi buffet.Unfortunately, price has increased over time while the quality has declined. I think they have tried to go overboard with their rolls, to the point where sometimes you don't know what you're eating. Beyond that, some of their roll creations were a bit too bold for my taste. Banana and fish sushi is a step too far. While the fish used to be much higher quality, I will say they do have an assortment of good sashimi and normal rolls, which to me gives enough variety and enjoyable sushi to be able to rate Yuraku 4 stars. On occasion, they also serve special rolls with more ingredients that have combinations that work together.Overall, I would recommend giving this place a try. There aren't too many sushi buffets in the area, and this one does a decent job. A nice place to come with friends or family.
I have frequented Yuraku for years and have always been impressed with the food, service and environment. But this year we were missing a scallop roll and two different types of dumplings from our takeout order and the restaurant never made good on the products or the problems. I was tied up over Christmas and did not reach out to them until early January when I notified them of the issue. At the very least after being a customer for over a decade I expected they would make good on what was missing from the order. Instead they never found a copy of my order and refused to believe I was telling the truth without it. I was very disappointed in them and will definitely try to find other sushi options to replace them. They acted as though I was lying can you imagine it was Christmas Eve and we ordered several vegan rolls and we did not have enough food to feed the non-Vegans among us. They should be ashamed of themselves for not believing us and following up.
