Pictured: Tandoori Bread with the Zahawig (cream cheese salsa , as well as fahsa and saltah (spelling? . Also had Lamb Mandi. Yemeni ?? loved all of these dishes and the service was wonderful. The waitress was diligent!
I will preface by saying that I have only left a mere handful of reviews ever. The mint lemonade tasted sour, you could tell that there was little to no effort put into making it. The food was just alright. If you can’t stand the smell of lamb, then don’t try the lamb haneeth as its smell is very strong. Most importantly, the service. Terrible is an understatement. For the 1hour+ time that we were there, I don’t recall once that the waiter came up to us and checked on us. Especially the female waiter who walked by our table many times and didn’t even say much as a hello, let alone ask if we needed anything. My guess is that they no longer care about being polite or proving good service to ensure a tip, since they automatically charge you a gratuity fee even if their service was awful. I would not recommend at all.
No one spoke English in the restaurant except the manger and I had to wait 45 minutes for food to arrive and for cup tea we waited 25 minutes. The rice were ok but the lamb had stronger then usual. Also I think the reason we got bad service is because there was already gratuity charge. I will not recommend this place to anyone unless they want bad service and food.
Friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. You're not being rushed out. Food quality and plate size were good.
Its worst food. I have ever had. No taste at all too expensive no quantity no taste. They charge gratuity without asking 20percent of the food bill on top of that. They want tips. Useless restaurant not recommended to anyone.
