I can 't really call it a dive bar because they make you feel like you 're a part of the group the moment you walk in. Almost like everyone is Norm from Cheers with the loud hey and smiles to go with them. A biker bar run by ladies with a chopper by the front window as you come in, pretty cool I thought. The decor is definitely a bikers theme, I am not sure of Bones the pirate next to the shuffle board table has anything to do with being a biker though. I guess because a pirate has that rebel in him which is equal to a biker, yea I will go with that. After my grand welcome to the Pan Handle from Mary (owner Nancy (bartender I sat at the bar and actually enjoyed regular frosty pint of MGD from the tap. They don 't have any crafted beers on taps just the usual suspects bud ,coors, yuengling, and two millers, with six packs to go also. OK time for some wings where to go, what to choose the options all looked delicious with prices that were not at all expensive. I went with a Cajun and garlic parm wings, made by Ms.Phyllis or known as Mom over here. She preps these meaty wing with a Cajun rub mixed with flour and some breading , before she fries them. Yelpers they were amazing with every bite, with every little moan that was given by me. Great flavor, where you can taste that Cajun , mixed with the garlic sauce that these big boys were being bathed in. Every bite was flavorful down to the bone, I was more afraid of biting my fingers with every bite that 's how good they were. Ms Phyllis , or I should say mom did a great job in prepping these bad boys. Another fun filled experience is once you have finished your meal you are rewarded with cake, or dessert, compliments on the house! Mom says her rule is you have to finish everything on your plate, before you get a sweet treat. I know better than not to listen to my mother and I wasn 't going to be disrespectful in her house, plus these were delicious wings. I had my choice of a chocolate and vanilla blend or a cinnamon apple. I went with the cinnamon and apple cake with chunks of caramelized apples baked inside, simply delicious. Good pub food, their burgers look delicious, big with a mountain of fries to go with. Something I will look forward to in ordering with dessert guaranteed at the end. Mary the owner of the bar talks with everyone, jokes with you..even comments on Philly 's sporting teams and what they are doing wrong ! Side note Ms Phyllis is a cake chef , that helps out in the cooking department. They have Shuffle board along the wall for everyone to get into,(I 'm a gamer ! . they have specials they also do . Mondays are their wing specials, .40 cent wings, Wednesdays are shot nite with Nancy, along with live bands on the weekends. Wow long review here but I had a good time , in all I enjoyed my visit. I can 't wait to go there again , so stop in and grab a pint and some great pub food. Side note They do not accept credit card, but they do have an ATM inside the location.
Discovered this place recently when invited here for a friend's band's performance. Only here the one time so hard to say with any real experience my opinion of the place. But for my one visit the service was good, the beers were cold, the locals were friendly, and the entertainment great. No complaints. I'd come back for sure.
I go here for the wing night on Mondays, they have to have some of the best wings around. Everyone is friendly and the beer is not to expensive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice little bar.
Great small bar but they dont take credit cards so that kills em
After following them on social media for many months, I was thrilled to try. It wasn't disappointed. There is a large bar selection of beer to mixed drinks, and the food menu has snacks / bar food and full entrees. My friend and I shared the crabs, and then she had the crabs-sharmp-Quesadilla. I had boneless wings with two sauces on the side (Garlic Parm, honey mild), and we were both very happy with the food. Our server, Gabby, was very friendly!
