WOW! Small family owned restaurant with southern style cooking and a touch of elegance. You must stop here if you are in the area. If you are not in the area, get in your car and check it out! It is a hidden gem in Gibson, GA.

A southern home converted to a welcoming eatery. Southern dishes that are flavorful and plentiful. Heritage House is a near perfect place to get to, to enjoy great, southern, hearty, fresh hand-prepared meals. If you 're traveling I-20, take the short detour south to Gibson, Ga and treat yourself. In the few minutes waiting for your order, browse the autographed photos of Country Music Greats that adorn the rooms. Spoiler alert- the owner is the private chef for the group ALABAMA ! Bon appetite, y 'all !

Nice people, great atmosphere, wait staff friendly. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is awful, tasteless, bland and disappointing. I sent it back and no one offered another option. I paid for a meal I could not eat.

My wife and I finally had the chance to go here, and we were not disappointed! I had the Gibson Cheeseburger and it was amazing! The bun was homemade and burger was tender and seasoned perfectly!My wife had the chicken parmesan. The pasta and the sauce were home made and the chicken was really tender. All salad dressings are home made and she had the Italian dressing with the salad that came with the chicken parm. She absolutely loved every bite of it!This is going to be our new regular place to eat out for sure!
