We were glad to have a table under the covered terrace as it did rain a bit but we didn't feel it. The stream goes right past and a pretty wildflower field opposite. It's a really lovely setting. Food was very good. I had the fish (dorade filet, sauté potatoes, leeks, carrots, turnips, and a sauce with lots of interesting additions like small pansy flowers and an orange dust around the edge of the plate. Such a pretty dish! which was delicious but unfortunately the chef put soy sauce in despite me telling them I had a gluten allergy. I haven't been very well since unfortunately. This is a problem throughout the regions we visited in France (this one and closer to Nantes the restaurants are just not geared up to allergies at all. The idea that someone might need gluten free food is strange and very rarely taken seriously or adaptations made. For this reason I don't necessarily blame the restaurant, it's just not that common here (oddly . My husband had the steak, with saute potatoes and salad, which was perfectly cooked and a plentiful portion. It's a good meal, and the standard is about right for the price. Definitely recommended (but be a bit more pushy with informing of allergies don't assume they're thinking of anything let alone everything .
The setting of looking over the fields with cows and a babbling stream is sublime. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food was tasty and well prepared and at an appropriate price
Staff are very rude and unaccomodating, Prices are also expensive. Plenty of other better options to chose from.
The bruschetta and steak tartare were both very good as well as a Camembert appetizer. The service was friendly and the prices par for the region. Lovely atmosphere on a warm summer evening.
A really nice little spot to have lunch and a drink. The food was good . My friend had an excellent beer but I had to send my fist glass of wine back as it was off. They happily replaced it right away of course.
