Deutsches Theater Keller & Bistro

The German theatre in Göttingen is simply cult! The program has been traditionally well read for decades. Not only the classics are played, they also use more and more complicated topics that have been partially implemented very well. For years, the actor ensemble has a good core of artists who have remained loyal to the theatre. They are very close to the actors and can also easily lead a personal conversation afterwards.

After a casual walk through the old botanical gardens, we had built quite appetit. to the happiness we found this bistro on the way along the city wall in the direction city center. we had every salate, with a dark weeping and a glass of merlot. service was fast and friendly and we can't recommend it if you are close!

We were looking for something dessert in a late relatiw time. at 10 o'clock. the cakes were really delicious and we were all satisfied. some of us chose something dessert wine and said it was really good. the service is good, the girl. serving us was nice and polite and also fluent English. I really enjoy it and I would like to go back there for another cake

A modern extension on the left side of the historical German theater, the dt bistro contains an attractive and relaxed place to eat and drink. the available eating ranges from a snack to a three-course menu. I had a particularly good steak, but vegetarians are also well-maintained. a more obvious place to eat an appetizer, but also a good choice, even if not participating in a performance. we came to an early evening dinner at 18.00 a.m., but pretty soon the bistro became very busy before the performance at the theater. also the apfelstrudel for dessert was very good. I would be happy to eat there again.
