New Peach Garden - Golden

We were excited to find things on the menu from our time living in China that we've never seen at a Chinese restaurant in the US before! We got a little carried away with ordering and took home leftovers : our favorite was probably the fried green beans. And you know it's a good sign when you hear the other customers speaking just as much Mandarin as English!

My favorite Chinese place in Golden! Went in last April when they were between chefs and on a very limited menu. It's owned by a husband and wife, and since their previous chef left, all they had were the traditional meals the wife knew how to make, and they were so good! Incredibly friendly too the husband, Yu Feng, sat with us for part of our meal and told us all about the history behind the food, the folk music playing, and some of the poems and paintings on the walls. Ever since, I've been a loyal customer, and can't bare to get the old American Chinese classics any more! The Shaanxi sandwiches and dumplings are incredible, truly authentic dishes for the North of China and they are delicious!

New Peach Garden offers a wonderfully extensive menu that never disappoints when I'm craving Asian cuisine. I highly recommend trying their traditional dishes, as they are unique and hard to find elsewhere. Their pork sandwich is particularly delicious, and the staff is always friendly. While the service may not be the fastest, the food is consistently excellent.

Authentic Northern Chinese cuisine with outstanding staff. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it!

I ordered four different dishes: chicken Lo Mein, Kung Pao chicken, orange chicken, and sesame chicken. Every single dish was packed with flavor, served warm, and utterly delicious! The sesame chicken actually had a spicy kick, just as it should; usually, I have to request spicy because most places get it wrong. But this restaurant nailed it with every dish! I will definitely be ordering from them again! I've never been a big fan of Chinese food, as most of what I've tried in the past has been lacking in flavor and texture. But not New Peach! Wow, it's hands down the best I've ever had!
