Noble Roman's Pizza - Golden Meadow

My family is on vacation from Missouri, and on our way back to our hotel in New Orleans from Grand Isle Beach at 8:30 PM, we passed by this restaurant. Realizing we wouldn't make it back to New Orleans in time to grab pizza there, we decided to stop here, and I’m so glad we did! This place is fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and quick with service. The restaurant itself was very clean and had an amazing aroma. We ordered our pizza to go, and it was honestly the best pizza we've had in a long time! My 16-year-old son, who is a bit of a pizza expert, declared that it should be illegal for pizza to taste this good. Plus, it was not greasy at all. Although we saw some reviews mentioning that the prices were a bit high, we found them to be comparable to what you would pay at chain pizza places like Pizza Hut or Papa John's. We highly recommend Noble Romans!

I absolutely love their shrimp po'boys! The flavor is straight from the Gulf. The delicious shrimp are perfectly cooked, paired with onions, lettuce, and tomato, all served on bread that just melts in your mouth.

The prices are sky-high! $19 for six wings, a side salad, and a drink!

The pizza was delicious, but it was Friday evening and we walked in at 7:30pm the first thing we heard from the first employee every employee was that they close at 8pm. We just wanted a nice place to have a meal together as a group of 14 people. We did get tables put together we ordered 3 Pizzas right away to not keep them late. We each had to get up and walk to the bar to order our soft drinks. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri that did not at all taste strawberry orlike the Malibu I saw being poured into it. It looked like pink lemonade, but had no flavor at all, or that I could distinguish. It was mostly just ice no flavor at all. We heard at least 5-10 times that they were closing at 8pm, on aFriday! No real thank you or actual service, but they were very eager to take the dishes away and we ordered pizza to go at 7:45 they had to be sure the kitchen hadn't closed yet. Ordered breadsticks boneless chicken had to go backand ask for sauce and then got one and needed to ask for the other 2 for the 3 items I ordered. Since it was a table of 14, gratuity was included some of us did tip cash, but it would have been much more if the employees had not made usfeel SO UNWELCOME! I've eaten here before and gone see live music here before on a Friday I've always had good service and good food. Wish we could have said the same this time since this was right after my very good friends'wedding. Disappointed in the service we received tonight. Hope next time is better.

I ordered a large pizza and wings, and I've never seen a pizza that looked so beautiful—I almost didn't want to eat it! I also got a hamburger that looks good, which I plan to try later.
