Chubby's Diner - Goldsboro

First of all, I rarely if at all give a negative review, you really have to earn it. Driving back from Topsail my wife wanted a real burger . Our past experiences with Chubbies in Kinston were great. So we stopped here in Goldsboro. Everyone is nice as the cam be but there is definitely a kitchen issue. I did a walk in take out order for a cheeseburger with mustard chilli and onions and a club both with no tomatoes.The burger took forever...and I was apologized the about the wait, that was nice. Finally our order is ready and handed off with no tea. We head down the road a few miles to eat. Both sandwiches had tomatoes no big deal. The fries were cold.I 'm guessing they made the fries with my club and by the time the burger was done they were cold.My wife did not get a cheeseburger with mustard chilli $1 extra charge for the chili she didn 't get )and onions but what looks to be an all American burger with lettuce, tomato and onions. Needless to say I was very disappointed. All that time for a wrong order is 2 stars. We were too far down the road and too hungry to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here! The decor is beautiful! Filled with positive artwork! The food is very delicious. Generous portions and superior customer service. You guys have a regular in me!

The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean but the food was mediocre. I got the steak and eggs. The steak was not cooked like I requested. My daughter 's was also cooked incorrectly. Both were undercooked. I also didn 't care for how the meat was seasoned. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. She was a very good waitress, she was one of the best servers that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

The first time I had them I had lunch and it was pretty good. The second time I went to try the breakfast and it was very much disgusting and so were the workers there. Will never go back again.
