Feedback gevenIt was an attempt! We usually go to a place nearby every year, this time it was full and this one was empty (now you know why). Even I know that fresh squid is a little bit like rubber (which a... professional chef should know? that runbberly line ran through all the plates. The waitresses seemed at the end of their willingness (the season is over) to go along with it to deal with the guests.The Funtanaliras (white wine was great but again on the upper price line (which is hard to justify for this place).
Lovely along restaurant and bar pizzeria next to fishing port, so you know sea food is fresh! Lunch on a very hot afternoon, area almost deserted as few others were foolish enough to venture forth at what was siesta time for most. Indoor restaurant...or outside under a slatted bamboo roof... Which allows the sun through. We shared mussels and clams with local bread and bottle of Asti. Shellfish very fresh and perfectly cooked, lovely. Had spaghetti afterwards, large portions and also nice. Hung around in the shade at another table afterwards, slowly finishing the wine and a bottle of water. Hope to return soon for dinner!
This restaurant proved that bad rankings and stories from other visitors shouldn't be taken for real sometimes! This is an authentic Italian restaurant with good food. We were 4 people with kids. Everyone was happy in the end. Especially the ones with fish orders. We come back!
The restaurant was busy so we waited a short while. The meal started with bread and then we had spaghetti vongole, sweetie and steak. All meals were delicious and satisfying. The place was very naval port and the atmosphere was great. Not badly paid... Either!
