Feedback gevenAs the name implies, this restaurant prides itself on its traditional atmosphere and offers truly exotic dishes in a city like Kochi.
We sampled a variety of vegetarian dishes such as dosa, idly, and vadas and found them to be excellent. What stood out to me the most about this place was its open and airy atmosphere and layout. Unlike many other vegetarian restaurants in Kerala, this place is very spacious with plenty of open space between tables and tastefully decorated walls. We visited late at night and were able to find parking right in front of the restaurant, though I cannot speak to the availability of parking during the day.
The restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices, with a variety of vegetarian options and snacks to choose from. They even serve chaats! However, some of the snacks were not as crispy as expected in the evening. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy evening tea and snacks. I haven't tried their lunch menu, so I can't comment on that.
I visited Oottupura in Kochi with my family. It's easily accessible from the city, is located on the side of the road and has a small space for car parking. There is sufficient place to sit inside the restaurant, but it's a bit congested. There's hardly any space to move between tables. We went for lunch, so we had the vegetarian meals. It took about 20 minutes to arrive, which is not bad considering there were five of us. The waiters were polite, but slow. The meals were tasty and had lots of flavour. Quite a number of side dishes were served. I would recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner with family.
Its a place where you can eat good meals, south Indian dishes at affordable rate. Highly recommended.
