I like their deco, so chill. The sushi tastes good and I LOVE that they let you get all the wasabi you want. Small varieties but all are fresh. The egg with beef roll is an interesting one: I didn’t think the combination would work but tried one out of curiosity. Turns out it worked nice! Short wait during peak hours but worth the wait!
I’ve been here about three times. 5/5 for consistency. 5/5 for variety of sushi. 5/5 for price. 5/5 for staff friendliness. 5/5 for a comfy and warm environment. A good range of salmon, chicken and vege. I haven’t tried their lunch dishes yet. A little girl came to the counter to pay in a bunch of coins. The staff were so friendly- it was no hassle for them at all. I love the creativity they put into the sushi.
So. Freaking. Good. Best sushi I have had in Christchurch in my 13+ years of living here. Down towards the end of the main building at the Tannery, Nori Table offers a great selection of sushi from their cabinet it's predominantly a select your own kinda place. But they have a small menu too, which looks like it changes often. You have to try their tempura salmon sushi, and the mini chicken yakitori bamboo skewers are amazing. It's ALL good!
This is my favorite place to have lunch in tannery. All of staff is very kind with smile and very impressive sushi : Nice price and taste with quality
