Waffle Haus - Governors Bay

Absolutely beautiful waffles and the best coffee I've had so far in the south Island. Staff are friendly and efficient. There is seating outside and upstairs. There is a nice view out of the windows. Internal accessibility is low, but if low mobility people sit outside (weather dependant), it's fine.

This quaint little spot is really nice, the food is great, the waffles are excellent and the services could not have been better! The lady that cooks and creates them clearly loves what she does as you can taste the love in the waffle itself and also how she presents it, I forgot to get a picture when it first arrived because it smelt so dang good!! Highly recommend this place if you are searching for waffles! I dare say any one of these that you order will be amazing just please be patient with the people as they are fresh made waffles not pulled from packets xx much love, happy eating

Absolute lil gem, we had the Big Apple and KitKat waffles, with hot chocolate and triple peach frappe. Hot chocolate was too sweet, but everything else was very nice! Would come back, but definitely order less between the two of us as was too much to eat and drink

While the restaurant itself is small and caused a bit of anxiety due to lots of people in a small place. However, the food was devine! The waffles were soft and fluffy. Not doughy like a lot of waffle places. I got the banana bacon waffle with a smoothie. Was a fantastic choice. The group I went with all ordered different dishes and there was not a single a complaint. Definitely recommend for a delightful treat

The waffles are good, I tried berrilicious and another with banana and caramel. The berrilicious is better. The coffee and milkshakes are good too. They were nice and polite.
