Mobile Travel Store - Grand Bay

We went to the truck stop for breakfast. My initial impression was not so great due to the sticky floor and odor of old grease. Actually almost left before the waitress appeared. The waitress was very kind, cheerful and patient. She did an excellent job throughout our visit. I ordered a standard breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit and hash browns. I freely admit I was pleasantly surprised by not only the quantity but how good it tasted too. My wife ordered the French toast combo. It came out with scrambled eggs and sassiest patties and, of course, a large plate of French toast. She enjoyed the eggs and French toast. The sausage patties were rather bland but she ate the rest of it. I honestly don't think I have ever seen her eat that much in a single meal. My son ordered the pancake combo. This had scrambled eggs, bacon and a separate plate of three huge pancakes. I insisted on helping him eat his pancakes. The pancakes were some of the best I have ever had. I would have given the restaurant a five star but I must drop the rating due to the poor cleanliness I mentioned at first. I will give them another review in the future. Hopefully, it will be cleaner.

We needed gas so stopped here. There is a restaurant that serves home cooking attached to the store. Store was well stocked clean.
