Chipotle Mexican Grill - Grand Rapids

This is a great chip. all employees are attentive and hard working. the line moves quickly. my buddy dropped a part of his bowl, and the hired came right by to let him know that they clean it up and get him a little cup of steak as he did. I asked for a lid after I had not finished my bowl and the hired also offered a bag. just don't work ethic they see more. love it!

Stale chips most of the time, short staff, skimpy portions, quality is lacking compared to other chipotles. That’s just to name a few things. Would recommend but lower your standards.

So I've only been to Chipotle a couple of times and both times to this one near Woodland Mall. The first time was a few months ago and it was ok. Tables were dirty, trash was over flowing, and they were out of chips. Not sure how a Mexican joint runs out of chips on a weekday, but all right. This second time was even worse. I worked in the restaurant industry for quite some time and I'm saying the health department should be visiting. The place was disgustingly dirty. Not a clean table to be seen, trash over flowing, the floor doesnt look like its been cleaned in quite some time. The kitchen didnt look much better. I chose to only eat some chips and queso my friends got but we ate in the car cause it was way too dirty to eat inside. i get staff is short, but they desperately need to clean more.

I will start off by saying the night crew is always awesome. Very nice and portions are great. However.. the day crew is 9 times out of 10 terrrrrible. Always giving half portions, never trying to be nice, and constantly saying the quesadilla machine is down when they really just don 't want to use it. Twice now the day crew has said it was down when the night crew gladly used it for me. The job is not hard, stop being so lazy. Like seriously grow up lol so night crew 10/10. Day crew 2/10.

I've gotten the entirely wrong order the past three times I've ordered. I understand mistakes happen, but a mistake isn't a mistake when it's this consistent. Two of the three mistakes I was given meat entrees when I had ordered vegan dishes. I'm beyond frustrated.
