Was quite disappointed with Gral Tao?s tofu today- barely any broccoli (and overcooked), and rather runny -too sweetsauce. Will try to stick to the red curry next time!
Really great Thai restaurant, nestled in a nondescript spot in a strip mall. Definitely authentic, watch your spice levels here. Noodle dishes and rice dishes were both tasty. The place is definitely popular. We were there on a random weeknight and theinside seating was full plus a constant stream of people filtering in and out for takeout.
Nothing like a good hole in the wall for excellent food, especially that which can be made vegan and gluten free as needed. I'm so glad I tried the Bun it was a popular dish that night and it was totally worth it. Don't miss this, Grand Rapids!
This is our absolute favorite Thai place in all of Grand Rapids. They have SO many vegan options and every single thing is delicious and fresh. My husband and I take clients here for meetings (some that have never even had Thai) and its become all oftheir favorite restaurants. Our friends and us got takeout here at least once a week. We recently moved out of state and ourfirst stop off the plane while we are in town was straight to Lai Thai. They are fast, friendly, and fantastic. I can?t tell youenough how much you need Lai Thai in your life.
Stumbled across this place and went in with my kids. The place is clean and friendly and seems to do a fair amount of takeout but sit down service was good. We had the krab Rangoon, orange chicken, mango curry and Thai coffee. Everything we had wasdelicious and generous in portion. Definitely will be frequenting more.
