Great food and great night. William was our server and did an excellent job.
Vintage is a great spot for a quiet meal in a very comfortable setting. There are some issues. It’s pricey, and with high costs comes better than average service. The three employees at the host stand could not have been more “who cares attitude”. It’s not like they were packed with guests and overworked. They did not even offer a good evening or a smile and hello. We had a reservation and were on time. Leaving, no friendly good night, thanks for dining with us. Service in the dining room was better, but I’m. It sure our server was well acquainted with the menu. She seemed a bit uncomfortable. I ordered the Wagyu steak. The way it’s served is cook at your table on a hot rock service. No problem except for hot grease spatters. The type when frying bacon. Not fun on a date even with your spouse. Like most steak houses the presentation is very simple. Steak on a bare plate. . The highlight, the Fishers Cameron red blend is a fine glass of wine. The white chocolate martini makes a good after dinner drink If Vintage is going to command $100/plate with minimal alcohol, they are going need to step it up. It’s a fantastic setting, but service and presentation need to step it up.
The food was amazing and we loved the small, intimate dining room. My only complaint was the service was so slow. We were there for over two hours and not by choice.
Great food. Spot on service. Gluten Free accommodations.
