Alta Sierra Deli - Grass Valley

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich a few months ago. Where was the meat? It was really just a thin layer, no thicker than an eighth of an inch. For 12 bucks? No side.

Went in today around 2:34 and got 3 sandwiches and the chili. We came in and got a meatball sandwich heard amazing things about them. Meatball sandwich was cold, cheese wasn't even melted? the chili was cold. My turkey sandwich was missing mayo and mustard . The guy told me he didn't want to cut more cucumbers so they were out and they couldn't heat it up cause everything wS off and cleaned. So o said okay. I came home and the only sandwich that was the closest to right was there Italian sub, only bummer is he didn't give me the mayo I requested on it . Other than that. The bread was great. Maybe not a fan of there sandwich's and just there breakfast. Would I say not worth the 54$ spent... if I have to come home and fix everything... better luck next time

Training a new employee today and still got our order out in a reasonable amount of time. Very friendly and courteous. Sandwiches and salad fresh and tasty. Highly recommend when in the area.

Had the Italian sandwich and a side of potato salad. Both were delicious and the staff was great!

A little jewel in Alta Sierra! This little deli is tucked away but has plenty of parking and is a great quick stop for lunch. We had the Philly Cheesesteak, it was good quality Roast Beef, onions and bell peppers, seared nicely on a toasted roll with cheese. The quiche looked delish as did all the sides, definitely house made. Small selection of chips, sweets and sodas. The place is immaculate and has several cute tables for its size. I'd definitely stop here again on my way up or down Hwy 49.
