Skyways offers the best food in town. Their breakfast is outstanding, with huge portions that guarantee you'll never walk away hungry.
During my last visit, the restaurant appeared a bit worn down, but they have made significant improvements since then. My dining experience for breakfast was fantastic. The Truckers Breakfast was a generous portion consisting of a large slab of ham, 2 large sausages, bacon, 3 eggs, home fries, and toast. I opted for the Greek omelette, which was made with 4 eggs and served with toast and home fries. The standout item was definitely the flavorful home fries. The food was served quickly and piping hot. My only critique would be that we were only offered coffee and not asked about other beverage preferences. The waitress was friendly, though she seemed to prioritize regular customers over us. Despite this, sometimes a peaceful breakfast is just what you need. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
Simple honest diner food for a reasonable price. Honestly cooked and fresh made. They have menu selections and specials that reflect their eastern European heritage such as cabbage rolls and schnitzel. My only complaint is uncomfortable metal chairs.
I stopped in here with a group of friends on our way to Algonquin Park for a few days of canoeing and camping. We each ordered the Breakfast Skillet on the recommendation of our server. This was a great choice - lots of food, very tasty and served quickly. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.I will eat here again.
