The male owner was rude and unpleasant. He seemed to think serving warm milkshakes was acceptable for a cafe. He communicated by throwing his hands in the air and shaking his head. I will not return to this restaurant, and in the future, I will take my catering orders to a different cafe with better customer service and a more pleasant attitude.
We had breakfast at this restaurant and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, service was quick, the food was delicious, the coffee was good, and the setting inside and outside were both very nice.
I’d not been to Shepparton fo years and years, but came with my husband while he had to deliver some products to a factory there. It was lunch time, so after visiting the SPC outlet (another surprising find), we looked around for a cafe. The streets near the SPC outlet weren’t really the place where you’d find several to choose from, but out of the blue, we came across Europa. What an interesting find! It was quite large, with lots of tables and chairs, and right along one wall, an array of cabinets with smallgoods and cheeses, then an area to order lunches and coffees, and along the other wall and in the middle, shelves of deli goods to purchase. We ordered a zucchini slice and salad for me, and the soup of the day, Potato leek and bacon for husband. Both very tasty. We could help ourselves to water and glasses from the fridge. Very reasonable prices $22 for both, and I remarked to my husband that that’s the price you’d pay for one breakfast at a trendy cafe in Melbourne!!! It’s a place I’d happily return to.
Europa was once a great stop-off for gourmet food. Now ... recent experience when ordering a salmon/salad sandwich, interesting price of $13: expensive sandwich! Hot chocolate luke warm, very disappointing. Staff who served seemed unfamiliar with how to price sandwich, not hard really. But never again.
