Grecian Corner Cafe - Greenlawn

Ordered from here last night- ordered a chickpea burger for my vegan mom and they gave her a chicken burger instead. Didn't realize until the first bite. The receipt confirms we ordered chickpea, but it looks like there was a miscommunication. Very disappointed, will not be ordering from here again.

In response to the Kristina S. and Ali S's review: A few weeks ago, I was enjoying one of the many delicious meals I have had at this lovely family owned business with my 7 year old daughter when I noticed the teenage waitress taking multiple calls from the same person. From the waitresses response it was clear the person asked to speak to the owner, who the waitress explained was not in but that she would take a message. They kept calling back and harassing this young girl who was maturely explaining that she would pass along their message. I could hear them on the other line at this point threatening the waitress saying they would leave bad google reviews if the owner did not call them right away. I am very sorry these ladies did not enjoy their food and did not wish to pay $2 for an item they wished to add to their order but you are not entitled to continually contact a business when they?ve answered you. You are not entitled to be contacted immediately and you are not entitled to harass a place of business. My 7 year old and I were embarrassed by your behavior toward the young lady. Clearly you did not enjoy your experience, so don?t go back. I am happy to go there instead and enjoy the delicious meals I always have that are homemade and fresh. Grecian Corner is not only our favorite place to go, but we use them for catering as well. Bravo to the young lady for enduring bad behavior from adults and bravo to GCC for keeping up with a high quality standard. Support your local businesses, people!

This place was an extreme disappointment from the beginning. From placing my order to my first and last bite. The food was tasteless, poor quality, dry and disgusting at best. The owner has a horrible attitude and shows total malcontent for everything. I called a several times to rectify the issue with my very expensive order and nothing. She won't return my call or get on the phone. This is not how you treat a paying customer unless you know you are in the wrong. What a shame. Save your money the food is not worth the price and lack of customer service you get. GO ELSE WHERE!

CURRENT REVIEW 2022- Where do I start, the reviews on this are very old because it is not the case anymore. I asked for an extra white sauce and was told I was going to be charged $2.25 for an extra white sauce with my gyro. After spending literally $100 in the place Katerina patronizingly says to me ?if I have to pay for it, you have to pay for it ? I don?t even know what that?s supposed to mean. On top of that the food wasn?t even that good, the fries were horrible , my daughters chicken nuggets were disgusting the lemon potatoes were inedible and the burger was dry. There is Greek place on every corner in this town and there?s no reason why anyone should pick this one. It is overpriced and overrated, and it doesn?t look clean at all. I don?t normally go out of my way to leave a bad review because I know sometimes things happen but with this place there were just too many strikes against them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Go down the road to Huntington Station and take your choice of about 4 Greek places that are actually worth it. IN RESPONSE TO THIS OWNER: Just so you know I had two orders that were paid with different credit cards but together added up to $100. So I was in fact being very truthful. And the rest of my review is completely accurate based on how rude you were in your response instead of just making good and moving on. And it was not a threat when I said I wouldn?t come back it was a fact. Good luck.

If you are looking for a Greek restaurant that is conveniently located, family owned and has a menu that's sure to please. . . then Grecian Corner Cafe is your place. They aim to please whether you are dining in or doing take out. It's a cozy spot to meet and eat with family and friends.
