When I opened the box, I was horrified to find a cockroach buried deep in the rice! It was incredibly disgusting! I called the restaurant to inform them, and they had the audacity to argue with me, claiming it was somehow my fault. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to stay away as well.
I highly recommend trying the Texano specialty bowl—everything was delicious! This is definitely a go-to Mexican restaurant in Greensboro. We usually tip for to-go orders at places we frequently visit and already enjoy, as well as dine-in and delivery orders, since it feels right. However, since this was our first time here, we decided to pick up our food. After we paid for the to-go order, my spouse mentioned that the server remarked, "What, no tip?" This was unnecessary and rude, especially since we hadn't dined in or requested delivery, and the restaurant wasn't busy. Tips should be earned through good service, not expected! Nevertheless, the food was fantastic!
El Camino Real is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the entire Triad! With incredible specialties, delicious food, and great prices, we highly recommend it to you...
I visited this local spot during my lunch break and had a great experience with some quick bites. The restaurant is on the smaller side, with limited seating, but that's because it's incredibly popular. We...
I've been living in San Diego, California, since 1986, and I know what good Mexican food is all about. So, when I found myself in Greensboro, NC, I didn't really plan on trying Mexican cuisine. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the food here is absolutely delicious, and they run a fantastic operation. The place was packed even on a Tuesday night, so definitely make reservations! The service is quick, and it's clear why this restaurant is so popular. The guacamole is chunky and just right, and the chicken mole was unexpectedly flavorful. They only have two outdoor tables, and while they don't have a liquor license (just beer and wine), their $5 margaritas are a delightful treat.
