John's Italian - Greentown

We stayed at this not appealing but appalling place. As an Italian we shot him. My friend used the toilet room she claimed he was dirty. The atmosphere wasn't good at all. We ordered the baked mussels appetizer. When it arrived, it was over boiled, the bread mixture was very dark. I tasted it from above and it was burned tasting. We told our waiter and he said he'd get us a new one. In short, the cook comes out, he comes to our table and in a louder voice says What's going on with the shells? I told him they were burned. He says they're not burned what they use. Color is one thing, taste is another. They were here. When I told him that, he's gone rudely. We have that too. I paid $2.07 for my soda I never finished and we left. The place was totally omitted, inside and out. The cook should have apologized and said I'll get you a new one, that's it! Do we trust that he has not overcome the next thing we got? I do not recommend this place to anyone! As he's still in business, it's beyond me.

Ordered turkey club to go and get, literally turkey meat only on white bread! I was shocked when I came home! How do you screw a turkey club sandwich? Turkey on bread... also, not pommes. I was stunned. BTW... I was charged for a turkey club as he was on the entrance, so obviously my order was taken right. I suppose it was a little my fault, because I didn't totally inspect what I picked up for the extradition order before I got out. Don't eat here!

Came in for dinner with my family. I love Italian food. But this place is a truck stop. The Owner comes staggering out of the bar, well past drunk! Then proceeded to the kitchen, to cook. He used many curse words towards his staff, in a very, very load yelling voice. The waitress is very nice, the food seems to have come out of a can or box. The dessert case has cheesecake with mold on it, they did toss it out when I spoke up. But they said all desserts came in that day. I would like everyone to know. This is a horrible place to eat. (There wasn't even soap in the bathrooms DONT EAT HERE, EVER!!

Always had good food from both places. French Fries are great also.
