If your hungry, and on interstate 30, and looking for a place to eat this is it. The shrimp fajitas are absolutely amazing! Try the chicken or steak if you want something other than shrimp. i've had other stuff on the menu but I keep coming back to the fajitas The Long Island Ice T's are done to perfection! I've been drinking Long Island iced tea's since 1980, I know good when I taste it these are done right!! Smooooth!!! Most of Greenville sucks but this place is well worth the stop to eat at. Being a Mexican heritage I can tell you that this place is worth eating at. When I have clients coming to town from Europe, Los Angeles, and New York I always bring them here. Not once have they been disappointed The attire for dinner is extremely casual. Levis, tennis shoes, workboots a perfectly acceptable. I've come in here smelling like a horse and then totally fine. This is the only Mexican place I will eat at in the whole area
Went for lunch-turns out this place no longer serves food and per the waitress-full bar only restaurant ! This does not surprise me as it has going down the hill for a long time. This place was once the best Mexican food place in Greenville. I am hoping for them to get it together and reopen!
The food and decor was a little plain, but that being said, this is pretty much my go-to place for messican food in the Greenville area.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times and found their food to be consistently mediocre. However, on our most recent visit, the restaurant was packed and the quality of the food was unacceptable. The chips were stale and overly greasy, and the pre-packaged fajitas tasted more like mystery meat than actual protein. The tortillas were unevenly cooked, with dry and raw spots throughout. My daughter's chicken dish was reminiscent of lunch meat, topped with a questionable orange queso. The sticky rice cakes were unappetizing, resembling cardboard puffs with a hint of Mexican flavor. Save yourself the disappointment and opt for Taco Bell instead. At least there, you know what to expect.
Yesterday, while we were out and about, we stumbled upon this restaurant. I was hesitant to go in at first because the exterior didn't seem very impressive. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We started with the queso, which was just okay. The highlight for me was the delicious chips and salsa. I ordered the beef taco plate with beans and rice, and I was impressed by how tasty they were. The portion size was generous and I was completely full after finishing my meal. We dined there around 11 am and didn't need to eat for the rest of the day because we were still satisfied. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 4 out of 5 rating.
