O'charley's Restaurant Bar - Greenwood

During my recent trip to the city, I discovered O'Charlie's conveniently located right next to my hotel. I had dinner there in the late afternoon, and it was exceptional. The filet mignon was one of the best I've had in years. As a regular at Aussie Square, I found O'Charlie's to be a much better option, with superior food and service. I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned three days later for the exact same dish, and once again, everything was perfect!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I couldn't stop laughing at how bad it was. The potatoes were overly salty and inedible. I ordered a combination plate with cod and chicken strips but received cod and five jumbo shrimp instead; I don’t eat shrimp. My broccoli was supposed to be unseasoned, but it was seasoned anyway. I tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered, likely because they were close to closing time. The next day, I called again to speak with the manager, but after trying twice, no one picked up. I could hear someone answer my call only to hang up on me. When I called back, no one responded. I’m really frustrated because I work hard for my money, and I don’t want to waste it on poor service and wrong orders. This experience has completely turned me off from returning.

O'Charley's... well, we were ignored for the first 10 minutes before being seated. Our server, Elyse, was pleasant and attentive for the most part. However, when we ordered our food, she immediately fetched a manager who seemed a bit lost. Although our meals were priced at $18.99 plus, we were offered a discount. That would have been nice, but the manager took away the appetizers we had already received for free during happy hour. Elyse then informed us that we could use our complimentary appetizers on our next visit—but there won't be a next visit for us, as we're out of state. The kids' meal, which was $4.99, was much better than the miserable steak and delicate dishes we ordered. Overall, it was not a great experience, but at least the stray cat outside is enjoying a good meal. If you're looking for overpriced cat food, O'Charley's is the place to go. Just beware, the food might leave you with gastrointestinal issues and diarrhea.

I've been coming here since working in Greenwood and I've never had an issue BUT this time....I got a to go order and steak was WAY over cooked, the broccoli which is usually delicious was crunchy and had grey spots on it like it was old. I've never gotten sick after eating anything... except this time. It'll be awhile before I can bring myself to coming back here and hopefully that'll be enough time for them to get it back together.

My wife and I decided to go there for lunch. I ordered the bone in ribeye with loaded baked potato and my wife had the rib and chicken tender combo platter. Our food was very good! Drinks were good too!
