Thirsty's Pub - Gretna

Not a bad little bar. Prices are decent and the place is cozy. Signs on the wall need to be updated with specials. Last time I went for some MNF, I was excited to see it was Margarita Monday. Unfortunately, the sign was outdated and the bartender suggested if I liked margaritas that it may not be a drink I enjoy there. So to me that is great service! No food and no food in the surrounding block. Not a biggie, but prepare accordingly. Also, no music unless a TouchTunes jukebox is paid, pretty lame. Hours are usually pretty good and they are likely open when you would expect a bar to be open unlike many other places in Gretna.

Excellent atmosphere and service. patrons are respectful and to know good people.

Tonight for a couple of beers and darts with friends stopped. the bartender was very friendly, the beer was cold and the place was spotless. What can they ask for more? we're coming back!

Great hometown bar atmosphere. cold beer with large service. tw is great for any sporting event.

I love this bar! the new owner had many bands since the takeover and we always had a hit when there is music. the prices were not increased at all. I guess some of these reviews don't like clean, nice cash that often brings free food for customers. Thirty is better without them! I recommend this little cityable.
